Beijing Arrival

Upon arrival in Beijing, your Beijing tour guide will escort you to hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own.



Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City Explore, Gubei Water Town, Simatai Great Wall Night Tour

Meet up your guide at hotel lobby before a visit to the largest public square that is the Tian'anmen Square.

And then, we will go to the Forbidden City which is home to 24 emperors during the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing (1644–1911) dynasties wiht more than 9,000 rooms.

In addition to the background introduction on the history,architecture and art of the City, your tour guide will help you explore 6 carefully-selected places in the Forbidden City, to discover the deep secrets of the emperors and concubines of the Ming and Qing dynasties, while other group tours only visit 6-8 places. You will be walking for about 2 hours (2 kilometers), on a walk that is graded easy. Note: The Forbidden City will be close during Sep.21, 2019-Oct.1st 2019 for the grand ceremony held at Tiananmen Square to celebrate 70th anniversary of founding the new People’s Republic of China (National Day). Your travel advisor will arrange other sites for visit instead in this period.

Have a lunch at local restaurant and you could seleted your dished as you liked.

Continue our trip to Gubeikou Water town where is takes about 2.5 hours from Beijing. And we will stay overnight there.

Around 8pm, your guide will accompany you to take the cable car up to the wall and see the stunning night views. Simatai is the only section of the Wall which is lit up and open to tourists at night. Only towers 5 and 6 are open to tourists for the night tour, as these two towers are comparatively flat.

Tips: You are suggested have a dinner at the Wangjiao restaurant where you can see clearly the lit-up wall while enjoying the delicious meal.

We will explore the secret of Simatai Great Wall. The best way to enjoy sightseeing at Simatai is by taking the cable car up and walking down slowly around the lakeside, as the way up will be the same as the way down on foot. You will be walking down slowly for about 1 hour (about 2-3 kilometers) from the highest point to the parking lot. The scenery on the way down, especially the view of the lake, is breath-taking.

Lunch on your own arrangement. You can order dish in the hotel or choose the other restaurant.

The tour will finish at the noon, you are suggested book your departure train or flight after 17:00. Our guide will take your to the airport or train station for your departure.
